| Doing succesfully this trek without the compulsory permit and guide, I think we had good amount of luck. We were passing through the middle of 4 army camps on the way and could have problems with possible return in any of them. But we were not stopped by them at all, only quetioned by an army officer when already up at Concordia. I don't think this is universally repeatable easily, but others may have same luck and wish the luck to all independent trekkers of course. |
