Start of difficult and long
scramble to Jebel Rum mountain

We should have climbed by
this canyon, but instead, went too quicky to the wall to the right side

This scramble is at places grade III
climbing, all exposed and not secured by rope.
After loosing a few hours trying to go by
misleading cairns, we abseiled down and tried different route

Still, it was for me as non climber very
long and exposed route, we did not have time to finish it within one
day so returned, with some abseiling as well.

Campsite at Rum village,
quite place to sleep, with shops just 100m away.
Burdah massive, about 20 km
from Rum village, visited by many jeep groups although almost noone
goes up the magnificient rock bridge.

Rock bridge of Burdah,
reachable by 2hr easy scramble, with slightly difficult route finding -
as usual in Rum
